Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Syed Shabbar Zaidi has announced that as of forthcoming month, the FBR would impose strict measures against unauthorised interaction between its staff and business community.
The FBR leader informed that the tax returns per day of Pakistan had risen with a whopping 127 percent as compared to the last year. In a Twitter post, Zaidi shared details of this tax return. As per the records, the number of tax returns filed in 2019 compared to 585,209 tax returns filed in precisely the same period this past year, till October 25 stand at 918,027. He added that authorised system will probably be way to socialize between FBR and business community.
“By November 1, 2019 strict enforcement is going to be made against unauthorised interaction between FBR staff and business community. Business community is recommended to report if any person contact through any manner without consent to FBR. No harassment,” tweeted the FBR chief.
Zaidi also stated that the FBR would release directions to staff of formations of FBR, employees and all officers not to interact with spouses via personal visits, telephone calls, cell phone messages or emails.
