The federal minister says that the whole Cabinet isn’t in favour of sending the former prime minister abroad. The summary to eliminate PML-N leader’s name from ECL has been obtained by the Cabinet: Fawad Ch Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that it’s mandatory to take approval from the Federal Cabinet for eliminating Nawaz Sharif’s name in the Exit Control List.
He said for its purpose, the summary has not yet been obtained by the Cabinet, a private TV channel reported.Fawad Chaudhry said,”In my view, the PML-N leader shouldn’t be allowed to go to foreign country “The federal ministry emphasized that the total Cabinet, except that the PML-N, isn’t in favour of sending the former prime minister abroad.
He added that the government is trying its best to ship the PML-N leader abroad as soon as possible.Earlier, former PM Nawaz Sharif’s ticket for London was canceled as his name couldn’t be taken out of the ECL.This is actually the second time that the PML-N leader’s departure has been delayed.
On Saturday the authorities had delayed the removal of Nawaz’s name in the ECL, forcing a change in his plan to leave London for treatment on Sunday.The National Accountability Bureau and the Ministry of Interior Couldn’t arrive at a decision regarding the removal Nawaz’s name in the ECL.PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz’s personal physician Dr Adnan were also scheduled to depart.
The Sharif family has already made all the arrangements at a London hospital to get an advanced treatment of Nawaz’s numerous medical complications.
