LONDON: MQM leader Altaf Hussain has asked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for assistance by providing asylum and financial assistance for him and his companions.

The MQM founder said in his petition to the Indian authorities:”If India’s Prime Minister Mr. Modi allows me to return to India and supplies me asylum along with my colleagues, I am ready to visit India along with my colleagues because my grandfather is buried there.My grandmother is buried there and thousands of my relatives are buried there in India. I want to see India due to their graves.
Addressing Modi, Altaf Hussain alleged that his assets, home and offices were taken over in Karachi after August 22, 2017. He asked the Indian prime minister to assist him money if he cannot take the potential of supplying him asylum.
